This song is one of my all time favorites of our Maestro Ilayaraja. I was very much inspired and could not wait to try this after listening to Meera’s rendition. She was so brilliant. Thanks to her for sharing the track, which is done by Murali Venkataraman. Srinivas has done the Ilayaraja’s portions and his voice has suited aptly to this song. I tried mixing the song myself for the first time and special credits to Srividya Kasturi who taught me the basics.

Anul mele panithuli(Cover)

This song sounded a mix of many harris jeyaraj songs initially and never impressed me. I love Sudha Raghunathan for her classical songs and I listened to this one only after having found the k-track. Initially I though this song is not so challenging, especially when sudha has sung it. But I adored her brilliant plain singing without many subtleties and that itself was a challenge. Here is my attempt.

Thanks to NVK for sharing the karoke track. Thanks to Shrikanth and Murali for helping me technically. This is the first song I recorded with my new SM58 Shure mic using Audacity software. I did struggle with a lot of technical problems, somehow finally got this done. My brother, Rajesh helped me with the mixing of this song.
